Global Business Power Corporation, formerly Mirant Global Corporation, was a joint venture company between Mirant (Philippines) Corporation and the Metrobank Group of Companies. On May 12, 2006, Metrobank acquired majority ownership and management control of the company.
GBPC is an umbrella company to the following power plants in the Visayas Region and Mindoro Island:

- GBH Power Resources, Inc. [Formerly Mirant (Philippines) Island Generation Corporation]
